Here\u2019s what the Heated Rivalry actors think about a Red, White & Royal Blue crossover<\/h1>\n

Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams have theorised what would happen in a\u00a0Heated Rivalry\u00a0and\u00a0Red, White, & Royal Blue\u00a0crossover.<\/p>\n

In their recent interview with\u00a0CTV\u2019s\u00a0ETalk, the two handsome talents answered an array of fan questions, including one that inquired what \u201ca Hollanov double date with Alex (Taylor Zakhar Perez) and Henry (Nicholas Galitzine) from\u00a0Red, White & Royal Blue\u00a0would look like.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, they\u2019re definitely a lot more highfalutin than we are,\u201d Storrie cheekily responded.<\/p>\n

Williams added: \u201cI think you should man this one. I have, unfortunately, not seen\u00a0Red, White & Royal Blue, but I\u2019m familiar with it.\u201d<\/p>\n

After taking a beat to think about the question, Storrie theorised that Shane and Illya would have a \u201cculture clash\u201d with Alex and Henry before settling on them having \u201ctea and biscuits\u201d together.<\/p>\n

While a\u00a0<\/span>Heated Rivalry\u00a0<\/span><\/em>and\u00a0<\/span>Red, White & Royal Blue<\/span><\/em>\u00a0crossover is unlikely, unfortunately, fans of both projects have plenty of content to consume.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over the weekend, the first two episodes of the gay romance hockey series dropped on Crave (Canada), HBO Max (US and Australia) and Sky (New Zealand).<\/span><\/p>\n

Unsurprisingly,\u00a0<\/span>Heated Rivalry\u2019s<\/span><\/em>\u00a0double premiere was a hit with LGBTQIA+ viewers, who praised the writing, direction and electric chemistry between Williams and Storrie.<\/span><\/p>\n

The remaining four episodes are scheduled to release over the next few weeks, with the finale dropping on Boxing Day (26 December).<\/span><\/p>\n

On the\u00a0Red, White & Royal Blue\u00a0front, Amazon MGM gave fans a major update on the highly anticipated sequel in October.<\/p>\n

Taking to their social media channels, the studio revealed that the film will be titled\u00a0Red, White & Royal Wedding\u00a0in a six-second video teaser.<\/p>\n

Amazon MGM also announced that\u00a0But I\u2019m a Cheerleader\u00a0director Jamie Babbit will be helming the sequel, taking over from Matthew L\u00f3pez.<\/p>\n

While the plot is being kept under wraps, the film\u2019s co-screenwriter and author of the original book, Casey McQuiston, teased some of the themes the sequel will explore in July.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe sequel is a glimpse into Alex and Henry\u2019s life after the confetti has finished falling from the first movie, and you have to move forward together as two adults in a real, serious adult partnership,\u201d McQuiston said in an interview with\u00a0Yahoo! Entertainment.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith pressures and expectations and dreams that might be coming into conflict with each other, and things that might be pulling them and pushing them in different directions and how they navigate that together. So as vaguely as possible, that\u2019s what I\u2019m allowed to say.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Red, White & Royal Wedding<\/span><\/em>\u00a0will see the return of Zakhar Perez as the first son, Alex Claremont-Diaz, and Galitzine as the British royal Prince Henry.<\/span><\/p>\n

Uma Thurman and Sarah Shahi are also expected to return for the sequel as US President Ellen Claremont-Diaz and the president\u2019s Deputy Chief of Staff Zarah Bankston, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n
